Important limits of UnpackNest tools and guides: no warranty, keep backups, and check files from unknown sources.

Last updated: 11 October 2026

General information only

Our guides are written to help you solve common file problems. They are general information, not professional IT, security or legal advice for your specific situation.

No warranty

UnpackNest tools are provided “as is”. We test them on real, damaged and large archives, but we cannot guarantee that every file will open or that results will be error-free. Always keep a copy of the original file before you try to repair or extract it.

Files from unknown sources

Extracting an archive does not make its contents safe. Scan downloaded files with up-to-date security software, and never run programs you do not trust.

Your responsibility

Only open archives you have the right to access. Do not use our tools to bypass passwords or protections on files that are not yours.

Third-party links and advertising

Some pages link to other websites or show ads served by Google. We do not control third-party content, and a link or ad is not an endorsement. If we ever use affiliate links, they will be clearly labelled.

Trademarks

WinRAR, RAR, 7-Zip, Windows, macOS, Android and iOS are trademarks of their respective owners. UnpackNest is not affiliated with them.
