Cookie Policy
How UnpackNest uses cookies, browser storage and advertising cookies, and how to control them.

What this policy covers
This policy explains which small pieces of data UnpackNest stores in your browser, why, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
Storage UnpackNest itself uses
filekit_sid (sessionStorage): a random session identifier used by first-party, privacy-preserving analytics. It disappears when you close the tab and is never linked to file names or file contents.
filekit_analytics_optout (localStorage): remembers that you opted out of analytics, so no analytics events are sent.
Files you open in our tools are read in memory by your browser. They are not stored in cookies, are not uploaded, and are gone when you close the page.
Privacy signals
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, our analytics script does not run.
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads, including personalised ads where you have consented. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, ads cookies are only used after you give consent through a consent message. You can manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Blocking storage does not stop our file tools from working.
