Does UnpackNest upload my RAR file?
The RAR extraction flow is designed to process archive bytes locally in the browser. Normal webpage files still load from the server, but the selected archive is not required to be uploaded for extraction.

Which RAR versions are supported?
The current verified engine supports inspection and safe extraction for RAR4 and RAR5 archives.
Can UnpackNest extract password-protected RAR files?
Not in the current release. Encrypted entries are reported and blocked rather than handled incorrectly.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The verified RAR5 flow has completed on Android, including selecting, extracting and downloading a file.
Why can a file be blocked?
Unsafe paths, symbolic or hard links, encrypted entries, unknown output sizes, excessive sizes and other unsafe conditions may be blocked.
What if the tool fails?
Try another supported archive or use the contact page to report the error code. Do not send confidential archive contents.
