The RAR tool is designed to process archive bytes locally in your browser. The selected archive is not sent to UnpackNest servers for extraction.

RAR processing

The RAR extraction engine runs in a Web Worker in your browser. Archive bytes are not required to be uploaded to the server.

Site administration

Administrative settings, optional feedback, and operational logs are separate from archive contents. Privacy-preserving first-party analytics may be enabled to measure visits, engagement and safe product events without storing file contents.

Anonymous site analytics

When first-party analytics are enabled, UnpackNest records page paths, language, device class, referrer domain, pseudonymous HMAC-based visitor and session identifiers; the visitor identifier rotates each UTC day, active engagement time, and safe product events such as RAR success or error codes. It does not store raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings, file names, archive entry names, file contents, passwords, or authentication secrets. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals can be respected by configuration.

Third-party services are enabled only when required for an active production feature. If advertising is enabled, the Google AdSense disclosure below applies.
